Owl Cupcakes

I found really cute owl cupcakes on pinterest the other day and decided to make them. Aren't they cute?

Chicken Pot Pie

This was a really good recipe that I made the other day. YUMMY! It was in a Taste of Homes cook book.

Ingredients:
1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. flour
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1-1/2 c. water
2/3 c. milk
2 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
2 c. frozen mixed veggies

Pastry:
1-2/3 c. flour
2 tsp. celery seed
1 package (8 oz.)cream cheese, cubed
1/3 c. cold butter

In a saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour, garlic, salt and pepper until blended. Gradually stir in the water, milk, and bouillon. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 min. or until thickened. Remove from the heat. Stir in chicken and veggies; set aside.
For pastry, combine flour and celery seed in a bowl. Cut in cream cheese and butter until crumbly. Work mixture by hand until dough forms a ball. On a lightly floured surface, take two thirds of the dough and roll into a 12 in. square. Transfer to a 8x8 square baking dish. Pour filling into crust. Roll remaining dough into an 8 inch. square and place on top of mixture. Trim and seal.
Bake at 425 degrees for 30-35 min.
